This privacy policy describes how Tiberias Restaurant (“Tiberias,” “we,” or “our”) handles personal information collected through tiberiasnyc.com(the “Site”). We run a single-location kosher restaurant at 45 East 34th Street, New York, NY 10016, and we collect only what is necessary to respond to inquiries, fulfill catering requests, and keep the Site working.

What we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly through the contact and catering forms:

• Your name and email address.
• An optional phone number, if you choose to share one.
• The contents of any message or notes you include.
• For catering inquiries: event date, event type, guest count, and an optional venue.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or analytics tracking on the public Site. We do not sell or rent your information.

How we use it

We use the information you submit only to:

• Respond to your inquiry or catering request.
• Coordinate the details of a reservation, event, or order.
• Maintain a record of past communications so we can serve you better on return visits.

We will never email you marketing material unless you have separately and explicitly opted in.

Cookies

The public-facing pages of the Site do not set tracking cookies. The owner-facing administration area at /admin uses session cookies provided by our authentication vendor (Supabase) so the owner can sign in securely; those cookies are never set during a public visit.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to monitor application errors so we can fix broken pages quickly. Sentry receives technical information about an error (browser, page URL, stack trace) but is configured to avoid capturing form contents. Sentry runs only when our production environment is configured.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the Site. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function:

• Supabase — stores form submissions and provides admin authentication.
• Netlify — hosts the website and routes traffic.
• GetSauce / Uber Eats / DoorDash / Grubhub and our reservation platform — third parties we link to for reservations and ordering. When you click those links you leave our Site; their own privacy policies apply.
• Sentry — receives application error telemetry as described above.

Data retention

We retain form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to complete the request you made and to keep a record of past interactions for hospitality continuity. You may request deletion of your record at any time by emailing tiberiasny@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Send any such request to tiberiasny@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be flagged prominently for a reasonable period.
